Craziest Purse Purchase!!!

Today I would like to share with you the purse that most people considered as my CrAzIeSt purchase ever!!! BUT, I never ever ever ever regret getting it because of the story that came with which I also never get tired of sharing to people who says "OH NO YOU DIDN'T!??!!" whenever they see it :)

So, let's begin! :) My craziest purse purchase ever is....(drum roll please!)....a Louis Vuitton Dog Carrier 50! :) Yup! a Dog Carrier! :) Wait, Wait, Wait!!! Before you say "OH NO YOU DIDN'T!??!!", let me first tell you the story that came with it....

The Story:

I was in San Francisco on a trip with my family back in 2008. My aunt had a convention so while waiting for her, me and my cousins decided to walk around Union Square. It was still a bit early so we grabbed a quick breakfast at a little cafe (sorry, I forgot the name) in the middle of Union Square. Because I brought Mimi (my darling chihuahua) with me on this trip, we took her with us (hotel policy that dogs are not allowed to stay by themselves in the room) in her pink Barbie dog carrier that I got for her from Pet Smart. As I was ordering, the Barista informed me that no animals are allowed inside so I have to get my breakfast outside instead. Well, fine by me...although I felt a little bit embarassed. :( After having my breakfast outside, me and my cousins strolled around Union Square and found the Louis Vuitton flagship store. Just for the fun of it, we decided to go inside and look around until the lady at the door (security guard?? I'm not sure) stopped me and said "I'm sorry Ma'am, dogs are not allowed here." OK!! So the restaurant I can pass but THIS??? NA-AH!!! OMG!! Then I remembered seeing a picture of Jessica Simpson on People Magazine with a SPECIAL LV purse......so, I asked her, "But don't you have a dog carrier??" Bingo! a perfect excuse! but the she said "uh......no Ma'am". In my head I was screaming "LIAR!". It was a perfect timing that one of the sales agent passed by the door so I said (while standing outside, OMG! How embarrasing :( but I have to prove my point here!) "Excuse me, do you have a dog carrier?" and the SA said, "Yes! Come inside!". AH-HA!! so I told the guard, "See! I told you!" :) :) :) after that, there was no backing out and then I heard....cha-ching $,$$$!!

FYI:

Ever since I started bringing Mimi with her LV carrier, I was never ever ever asked to stay outside.......even in a restaurant! .....even at a VERY formal restaurant!! :) Tried and tested as witnessed by my cousins *wink, wink!* :)

Now that you've seen it too, honestly, who wouldn't wanna wear it after THEY did?? :) Right? Lol! *wink,wink!* ;) So on to the next step....where to find 'em. It wasn't easy my friends! :) I've been looking for months for it trying to find the best brand and today.......it was at my favorite place...where else? Nordstroms Rack! White Watch-er!

Last week I was at Nordstroms Rack (I love this place!) when I noticed a few people hovering around one of the watch shelves. I was curious what was going on so......I cheched it out :) and it was Michael Kors' black and white ceramic watches. While trying on one of the watches to see what the fuzz was all about, I heard one of the ladies telling the Sales Rep that ceramic watches are one of the most sought after fashion for spring especially the Michael Kors ones. Upon hearing this and noticing that one of the white ceramic watch was the last one with rose gold tone (I am not much fun of yellow gold watches), I decided to buy it (it was kinda cute anyway *lol*) and do my research at home. After googling several magazines and celebrity photos....yep! It was true! Ceramic watches are the "in" thing for spring/summer fashion because of it's clean fresh look with a light weight feel. The combination of gold accent with white makes it very easy to dress up or dress down (from a quick jog at the park to dinner with friends). So for those of you who wants to check out this watches, It is on sale for almost 70% off at Nordstroms and Nordstroms rack. *Arm Candy*

 

I LOVE HANDBAGS! :) So, let me start my first official fashion blog on my favorite arm candy. This is a Neverfull GM Murakami edition. This is my most favorite because it was my first LV purse and it has a one of a kind design. I was in Big Bear Lake on a snowboarding trip back in February 2009 when I came across a picture of Nikki Hilton wearing it on People Magazine. I liked the size because I love huge handbags but fell in love with it more when I found out it was a special edition. I have been looking for the perfect handbag purchase from LV because I want it to be different (I don't want to spend on something ordinary...just my opinion). So, I researched this and found out that it can only be obtain at MOCA in LA for Takashi Murakami's exhibit (it was LV's tribute to Murakami's collaborational design with them). As soon as I got home...yep! I went to MOCA :)

First blog, First post

Welcome!!! I am soooo excited to launch this blog as this is my first evah!!! The inspiration came today when I just felt the need to write about something (I know it's weird but it's true. Lol!). I was thinking on what to write about 'coz it's gotta be about something I love to keep the inspiration going....then.....poof!! I created this fashion blog! :) So, as an intro, this blog will be all about my fashion finds and buys :) I just recently had a shopping haul (yey!!) that I haven't done in a loooong time because like Carrie Bradshaw "I've been cheating fashion with furniture" (I love Carrie!)
